WEEK TWO – Buffalo Bills

The Dolphins home opener will be against a division opponent and the Bills will come into Miami with a division title on their minds. This is an early-season game that could have late-season implications. If not for Miami, for the Bills.

The Bills made a big splash when they traded for Stephon Diggs. The talented and speedy wide-receiver is a perfect weapon for young Josh Allen. Now, Allen has little excuses for his lack of consistency when throwing the ball.

Allen is going to continue to run the ball and that will be the challenge for the Dolphins. Containing him and making him throw the ball will be a big key to winning this game or keeping it close. The Dolphins could play a perfect game in week one and then look lost in week two if they can’t keep Allen in the pocket.

The Dolphins offense is going to be interesting considering Ryan Fitzpatrick should have much better weapons as well. He has a better offensive line but this line should be far from good at this point in the season. The Dolphins need to protect Fitzpatrick against a tough Bills defense but with Preston Williams back and a better running game, Miami should be able to mix up their offensive game plan enough to keep the Bills guessing.

PREDICTION: Miami is going to keep this one closer than they did last year but I don’t see the youth on offense ready quite yet.
