WEEK SIX – At Denver Broncos

The Dolphins will be on the road for the second week in a row. Will they stay out west after the 49’ers game or return to Miami and then head back to the Mile High city? That is an interesting question that we won’t know the answer to until later.

If I was planning the travel, I would leave San Francisco Sunday night and spend the week practicing in Denver to get my team acclimated to the elevation.

On the field, the Dolphins and Broncos are taking different routes to rebuild their teams. Denver will be starting a young quarterback in Drew Lock and have added weapons for him this off-season. Defensively the Broncos are still very good and that is the strength of their team but the Dolphins will not simply roll over and play dead.

This could be and should be a defensive game that is controlled at the line of scrimmage. The Broncos have the better offensive line but it may not matter as Brian Flores will design a strategic game plan that will throw Lock off.

PREDICTION: Tough to call this one. The Broncos should get the home-field advantage here but the Dolphins have played well in Denver over the last couple of decades and Miami should be getting better at this point.
