The Miami Dolphins revamped their offensive line and now they need to turn it all up.

On the offensive line, three positions must be manned by players who have the natural ability and experience to be able to play them—the two tackle positions and Center. If you do not have the strength to play against the long list of NFL power rushers or the agility and speed to keep up with speed rushers on the outside, it can be a long day. Also, the essential aspect of the center position beyond being able to call out protections is being able to snap the ball.

The most frightening thing a Dolphins Phan can envision if Ted Karras is not available is the ball being hiked over the head of whomever the Quarterback is.

So, what did the Miami Dolphins do to address this for the 2020 NFL Season? Let us at the players that can fill in these premium positions on the Offensive Line.

Austin Jackson is a career Left Tackle.

Robert Hunt collegiate Right Tackle and could play both guard spots.

Michael Deiter. Played week three at Left Tackle. Starter at Left Guard for the rest of the season. At Wisconsin, he has 14 Starts at Left Tackle, 24 starts at Left Guard, 16 Starts at Center.

Jesse Davis. Over the last three years with Miami, Jesse has Three starts at Left Tackle, Two starts Left Guard, 23 starts at Right Guard, and 12 starts at Right Tackle. It is also worth noting on August 1st during his interview with the media Jesse Davis mentioned he is getting reps at Center.

Ted Karras. Over the last three years in New England, Karras has 12 starts at Center. Four starts at Right Guard.

Julién Davenport. Over the last three years in Houston and Miami, Davenport has 22 starts at Left Tackle. 1 Starts at Right Tackle

Ereck Flowers. Since 2015 Flowers has 53 starts at Left Tackle. 16 starts at Left Guard. 2 starts at Right Tackle.

After looking over the versatile players on the line, it shows a unique and rare occurrence most Miami Dolphins Phans have not seen for many years. An Offensive line that has depth and experience to navigate this 2020 COVID-19 NFL season.
