The five most underrated Miami Dolphins heading into 2020

Bobby McCain – safety or corner
Outside of Miami, there are not a lot of NFL fans who know who Bobby McCain is or what he brings to the Dolphins.
McCain is one of the older Dolphins players at 26. He has five years of experience and yet for all his work, he has yet to really get the accolades that he deserves. He has been asked to play corner, he has played the nickel role, he has defended the slot, and last year he was moved to safety.
This year, McCain will start at safety despite the fact they still list him as a corner. Last season was new for McCain and he did an admirable job but now, he will have the opportunity to settle into the role and own it.
In his five seasons, he has missed only nine games with seven of those coming last season. He has played well on special teams and I would expect him to see less work in that role this year. Paired with Eric Rowe, McCain will get tested and pushed by rookie Brandon Jones who wants to take that job but the competition will make McCain better.
This year could be a good season for McCain in his second season with Flores and Flores should have more trust in him as well.
