Predicting the second week of the 2020 NFL season
By Brian Miller
Giants at Bears
This one is hard to predict because I never would have thought the Bears would have beaten the Lions and the Giants managed to hold the Steelers down most of the game. I don’t think they Giants will have much to challenge them and I don’t think the Bears can do it again.
Giants win
Rams at Eagles
The biggest issue to me is that the Rams have to travel across the country but the Eagles should be hanging their heads in shame after last week.
Rams win
Falcons at Cowboys
I still don’t get the love affair with the Cowboys and Dak Prescott honestly. To me they are overrated and last week they didn’t look like an NFC East champion agains the Rams but this week, a return home could do some good.
Cowboys win
Panthers at Buccaneers
The Panthers came very close to beating the Raiders and the Buccaneers didn’t come close in the end to beat the Saints. The Panthers are not the Saints.
Buccaneers win (But man I hope they lose)
49’ers at NY Jets
The Jets didn’t look good for three quarters and then they looked like, well, they still were the Jets. NY couldn’t do much against the Buffalo Bills and I would be shocked if they could do anything against the 49’ers.
49’ers win
Broncos at Steelers
Without Von Miller, the Broncos defense is not going to be as stout and the Steelers avoided an early-season loss to the Giants by picking their game up. I think they will need to keep that momentum going and will.
Steelers win
