3rd down offense

We can’t really blame everything on the defense when it comes to 3rd and long failures. The offense is just as bad. Thank God Adam Gase is gone, the 3rd and long bubble screen or run up the middle was mindblowing.

Miami is really good at getting themselves off the field on offense. Whether it is a dropped pass, blocking failure resulting in a sack, or a miscommunication that ends with an incompletion, the Dolphins have not been consistent over the years. In fact, fans on social media are not confident most of the time that Miami will convert a 3rd and short either.

Miami doesn’t have an attacking offense and that is a big problem because they are more methodical in their approach from the time they get the play call to the time they execute it. They have to do better but over the last 15 years or more, it has been the same thing with different names on the jerseys and different coaches calling it.
