Myles Gaskin is continuing to improve for the Miami Dolphins.

Say what you want about why Matt Breida should start and I will probably agree with you. When Breida is on the field, I keep waiting for something explosive. Despite all of that, Myles Gaskin continues to impress with his hard running and because of that, he isn’t going to give up that starting job any time soon.

Anyone believing that Gaskin would be the starter heading into week five would have been lying to you. He has been o.k most of his NFL career but he was electric in college. Miami fans are starting to see some of that electricity. This is not to say we are looking at the birth of a HOF running back, far from it but we are seeing a player that needed to develop starting to just that.

Statistically, Gaskin isn’t going to impress anyone. He has 48 carries for 197 yards. That’s four yards per carry. He has also added 18 receptions for 113 yards. Gaskin is still improving and he is splitting the job with Breida. Lost in the mix is Jordan Howard.
