Five players that are moving in the right direction for the Miami Dolphins

Isaiah Ford deserves be on the Miami Dolphins active roster.
DeVante Parker continues to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke and that he is willing to fight through injuries for this team. He wants to remain in Miami through his career and he is putting up the games for the Dolphins to keep him but Isaiah Ford is starting to show why he finally deserves to stay active on the 53 man roster.
On Sunday, Ford was targeted 10 times and while he only came down with 4 receptions for 48 yards, he is finding ways to get open and make tough catches. Look, Ford has a ways to go but after spending most of his previous three seasons on and off the practice squad and active roster, Ford is showing that he has the ability to play in the NFL. He needs to start bringing in some of those passes though. His 10 targets were two fewer than Parker’s and seven more than Preston Williams who was almost invisible against Seattle.
This week Ford should match-up well against the 49er secondary and should have a good game.
Emmanuel Ogbah is going to lead the Dolphins in sacks this year.
The Miami Dolphins have a pass rusher. He may not be as good as Cameron Wake but who really is? Ogbah signed with the Dolphins as a free agent this past off-season. He previously played for the Chiefs.
The Dolphins need someone who can get off the edge and create problems in the offensive backfield and it appears that Ogbah may be that guy. Through four games he has 2 sacks, 11 tackles, two tackles for losses, and five hits on the QB.
As the Dolphins defense gets better and settles into the Brian Flores system, Ogbah should get better as well. There is a long season ahead and Miami needs someone like him to take control on defense.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the year shakes up as Ogbah will get a challenge from Kyle Van Noy and Shaq Lawson for the honor of the most sacks. Right now, he and Van Noy lead the team but watch out for Andrew Van Ginkel who is .5 behind.
