3.Mike Gesicki

4 targets, 3 receptions, 42 yards

Since having a massive game against the Bills, Gesicki has cooled off as of late, with the exception of the San Francisco 49ers game. However, he made a major play late in the Cardinals game that set up a Jason Sanders field goal late in the fourth.

Gesicki is another player that the Phins will need to step up with Williams and Gaskin on injured reserve. This situation might be what provides the catalyst for the role that Dolphins fans hoped for Gesicki with the arrival of Chan Gailey as the offensive coordinator, but the fact is, he is the next best offensive weapon behind our next player on this list.

Last week, Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller was held in check last week by the Charger defense, so it could result in a difficult matchup for Gesicki. However, if he is expected to help fill in for Williams, he could see more deep routes rather than be used mainly as an inline blocker.

There are only three Dolphins skill players I’d trust Sunday for the Dolphins in terms of fantasy football and Gesicki is one of them. He should be in line for a big day against the Chargers, and worth a start for fantasy owners.
