2.Devante Parker

7 targets, 6 receptions, 74 yards

Outside of Tagovailoa, Parker might be Miami’s most important offensive player. Yes I know he is second on these power rankings, but his value is extremely essential.

This past Sunday, Parker led the team in targets, receptions, and yards. While Williams was a very close second and scored a touchdown, getting hurt late in the game kept him there. Parker seems to be the clear cut favorite target for the rookie quarterback, especially with Gaskin out.

Parker has continued his trend of being the top wideout and offensive playmaker on this team and should continue to keep this trend against the Chargers. One of the most promising aspects might also be the fact that Chargers Pro Bowl cornerback Casey Hayward might miss this upcoming week’s game.

In what many fans expect to be a shootout, Parker could benefit from not just additional targets, but could also draw an easier matchup with Hayward out and the rest of the Chargers secondary already being so depleted.

Parker is always worth a start in fantasy, but if his target share continues to hold or grow, he should be a high wide receiver 2 with fringe wide receiver 1 value. If Hayward is able to suit up for the Chargers, Parker will still remain a wide receiver 2 based on volume.
