11. Indianapolis Colts (6-3)

A ‘good’ team that seems to come up short this season when facing the ‘creme of the crop’. Last week’s win versus the struggling Titans is the only quality win on the Colts schedule so far this year. Losses versus the Browns and Ravens are nothing to be ashamed of but they are still haunted by their opening week loss to the awful Jacksonville Jaguars.

Previous Ranking: 10

12. Los Angeles Rams (6-3)

Their only ‘quality win’ is last week’s victory over the sliding Seahawks. The other five victories are versus the 5-5 Bears and the four NFC East teams. With that said, they have six wins and have plenty of chances to seize the division since they have another game versus Seattle and two games against the division-leading Cardinals.

Previous Ranking: 8

13. Seattle Seahawks (6-3)

Possibly the hottest team in the NFL after five weeks, the Seahawks were ‘flying high’. Since then, they have lost 3 of 4 and Russell Wilson is giving the ball away like it was an Oprah talk show (10 total giveaways in those three losses). After playing the Cardinals this week, Seattle’s next four opponents are a combined 8-28-1 so they have ample opportunities to turn their season around.

Previous Ranking: 4

14. Tennessee Titans (6-3)

Similar to Seattle, the Titans started out the season strong. They won their first five games (albeit against suspect competition) but have since dropped 3 of their last 4. While QB Ryan Tannehill and RB Derrick Henry continue to fuel the Titans offense, the defense is surrendering over 5.5 more points per game than a season ago. Good news? They still play the Texans and the Jaguars one more time. The bad news? They also have to face the Ravens, Colts, Browns and Packers.

Previous Ranking: 7

15. Cleveland Browns (6-3)

Cleveland is right where they should be based on their schedule. They’ve beaten the teams they should beat (i.e. Bengals twice, Texans, Cowboys and Washington) but have gotten blown out in their three ‘benchmark games’ of the year (38-6 vs Ravens, 38-7 vs Steelers, 16-6 versus Raiders) but also have a victory over the Colts from week 5. That explains a -28 point differential for a 6-3 team. The good news for the Browns is that they still play the Jaguars, Jets and the other two NFC East teams.
