2. Jason Sanders

2/2 Field Goals, 1/1 Extra Points, 7 total points

The argument could be made that Jason Sanders has been the best kicker in the entire NFL this season. At the conclusion of week 11, Sanders is 7th in the league in total points scored and has also only missed one field goal on the season while going perfect on extra points.

On Sunday, Sanders scored more than half of the team’s points and was once again perfect on his kicks. It was the ninth time in ten games that Sanders has gone perfect on kicks, even netting a 54-yarder in the fourth that brought the Dolphins within a touchdown.

If the Phins offense is able to get a roll on Sunday, Sanders should only be called in to kick extra points, but having a kicker that is as reliable as any helps ease the pressure on both the coaching staff and the offense while they are going down the field.

Sanders has not only been one of the Dolphins best players on the season, but he is arguably the most consistent this season and Phins fans should hope to continue to see this trend and the season goes forward and the team hits its rough stretch at the end of the season.
