Miami Dolphins fill major needs in this Black Friday 2021 mock draft
By Pablo Rosero
Najee Harris and Marvin Wilson could be second round steals that could have elite impact year one for the Miami Dolphins.
Pick 40
Alabama RB Najee Harris
Power, speed, elusiveness, and vision, Harris is the complete package and is a carbon copy of Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry. Harris is my running back 1 in the draft and for the simple fact that he can be used as a bell cow similar to Henry, but he may also be a more potent wideout.
The Dolphins are in dire need of a threat at the running back position. Yes, Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed have done admirably, but the Phins do not have a true threat at the running back position.
Bring in Harris and that will change the direction of the offense. Not only will it make for a more potent rush attack, but it will also open up the passing game for Tagovailoa.
Pick 49
FSU DT Marvin Wilson
Wilson is an absolute steal here at 49. The Florida State product was a projected top-15 pick last season and the number two defensive tackle behind former Auburn Tiger and current Carolina Panther Derrick Brown.
I am not exactly sure why TDN has Wilson this late, because I truly believe he’ll end up as a first rounder, but hey I will gladly take him. With the absence of Wilkins the past two games there has been a weaker run game and a lack of pressure up front. Wilson covers both those areas very well.
The duo of Wilkins and Wilson with Raekwon Davis and Zach Sieler sprinkled in is a dangerous defensive tackle rotation that should have no issues if one of the key cogs is missing.
