Corey Linsley may be 29 years old but he could be a big addition to the Dolphins offensive line.

The Miami Dolphins are not getting bad play from Ted Karras but they are not getting elite play either and the Dolphins offensive line as a whole is a struggling unit that needs to grow more. There is a lot of potential on the line but Miami needs to get better.

Linsley is the top projected free agent center in the NFL. He can run block and pass block well and could be a nice addition to a line that has a lot of youth. He would bring more experience to the room.

The good: Consistent run and pass blocker who has been working with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay, and is a top quality and experienced line assignment caller. Won’t be horribly expensive at about $8-9 million a year. Linsley would be good for Tua Tagovailoa and his continued development.

The bad: Age is the biggest issue with Linsley who will be turning the corner into his 30’s. Will the Dolphins want to invest three years into a center that is over 30? Maybe not.

Dolphins need: This is interesting here. Miami likes Ted Karras and as mentioned he hasn’t been bad but the line as a whole isn’t playing at the level they need to and Karras is part of that issue. It’s unclear what the Dolphins internally think about Karras but he is on a one-year deal and there has been no mention of an extension.
