The Miami Dolphins got back their leading rusher in Myles Gaskin and will need him week 14.

4. Myles Gaskin

21 carries, 90 rushing yards, 2 targets, 2 receptions, 51 receiving yards

After missing 4 games with an injury, Gaskin came back to put up 141 much needed scrimmage yards for the Miami Dolphins. Had it not been for Salvon Ahmed’s stepping in during Gaskin’s alignment the Phins would have had no run game, and the game against the New York Jets is proof of that.

With Gaskin back, and hopefully Ahmed as well, the Phins can alleviate pressure from their rookie quarterback and put together a decent running attack. And the Dolphins NEED the running game to work right now.

This upcoming week against the Chiefs is a completely different game than any other. When facing a dynamic offense there are two key rules.

1.Rush the passer and bring pressure.
2.Run the football and keep the opposing offense off the field.

With Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, you can ball that list up, toss it at the nearest trash can, and yell “Kobe.”

While they are not unbeatable, they have definitely proven to be very difficult to beat. Not only do you have to play perfect for a full 48 minutes, but you then have to hope they are also not playing perfect football.

Mahomes has thrown 2 interceptions all season, so the defense will have to hope they can get three and outs.

Gaskin will then need to not only run a lot, but be efficient on his carries. Averaging 4.3 yards per carry isn’t bad, but that number should look at least around 5 or higher in order to even have a shot this weekend.

It doesn’t all fall on Gaskin, these next three guys will also need to have big games.
