Howard will need to continue his elite season to give the Miami Dolphins a chance to win on Sunday.

1. CB Xavian Howard

The last time the Chiefs played at Hard Rock Stadium, they ended the night hoisting the Lombardi trophy. The last time the Chiefs played in Florida, they beat the Tom Brady led Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

What do these two have in common? Well, if you ask San Francisco 49ers corner Richard Sherman and Bucs corner Carlton Davis, you have to keep up with Tyreek Hill if you want a shot at winning.

Howard will be the one trying to keep up with the track speed of the player nicknamed “cheetah.”

Howard has been amazing this season, leading the league in interceptions with 8 and shadowing opposing teams top wideouts. Hill commands a double team every time he touches the field. If that doesn’t happen he torches your team for  13 receptions, 269 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

Not only is this the most important matchup, but it’ll also be a way for Howard to show the league that he is the best corner in the league, more than what his stats already represent. Quarterbacks have had no fear of throwing at Howard, and he has made them pay every step of the way.

If Howard can contain Hill, there is no way of stopping him in this offense, and can force an interceptions, then his claim as an elite corner will be legitimized.
