Austin Jackson was the 2nd first-round pick in 2020 and looks to be another top tackle in the making.

Miami needed to replace Laremy Tunsil who Chris Grier traded ahead of the 2019 season. With one of the first-round picks Miami received in the deal, they selected Austin Jackson. Jackson has started nine of 10 games this year.

Jackson missed a few games due to injury but when he is in there, he plays more and more consistently and is doing a good job watching the front side of Tua Tagovailoa. While he isn’t on the same level as Tunsil yet, there is a lot of good seen so far that gives fans the hope that he will not only meet the level of Tunsil but possibly exceed it.

Jackson is playing well for a rookie and should continue to grow. He is one of three rookie offensive lineman starting for the Dolphins and that is impressive no matter the reasons but clearly, he has earned the spot.
