A big upgrade at center is needed for the Miami Dolphins.

Round 2, Pick 22

The Dolphins seem to be pretty set at the offensive tackle position.  The three players they drafted in 2020 (Austin Jackson, Solomon Kindley, and Robert Hunt) have all played significant time/roles during their rookie season.  An area of concern for the line, however, is at the center position.  Ted Karras is on a one-year deal and the Dolphins could be looking for an upgrade this offseason.

Oklahoma center Creed Humphrey is the top center on most pundits’ “big board” but he is likely to go in the first round.  A player that I believe is equally good, and should be available in round two, is Ohio State center, Josh Myers.

I have watched a couple of OSU games this year and combed through some 2019 tape.  Myers is a good pass blocker and drives defenders off the ball regularly.  For a Dolphins team that is sporting a terrible rushing attack, I believe that Myers is an upgrade at the position.
