The Miami Dolphins must still rely on Sanders and look past his recent struggles.

3. K Jason Sanders

Week 15: 0/1 Field goals, 2/2 extra points

It’s difficult to say what has happened with Sanders, but he has struggled on field goals the past two weeks. However, he continues to be perfect for extra points.

Sanders is still one of the most valuable and important players for the Dolphins this season, as he has proven to show up when it matters most and that he should still be relied on.

While the hope is his kicking woes can go away, he is still putting up a very impressive 2020 season for the Dolphins and can still argue that he should have been a pro-bowler.

On the season Sanders has had 30 field goal makes in 33 attempts and 32 for 32 on extra point attempts, while adding 55 touchbacks on 78 kickoffs.

Looking forward, Sanders will still be a reliable option once the Dolphins pass the 40-yard line and the team will continue to rely on him heavily as the season goes on. While the team is always looking to score touchdowns, the emphasis on great special teams play is key for Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.

Sanders gives relief to the Phins offense and will need to continue his high octane play if the Phins want to make it into the playoffs and beyond.
