Najee Harris is the best running back in the draft and the Miami Dolphins should snag him

Round 2 Pick 36

Alabama RB Najee Harris

Harris had a highly productive season at Alabama and he showed off his versatility in the National Championship game. Against Ohio State, Harris ended with 22 carries for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground and 7 receptions for 77 yards and 1 touchdown through the air.

At 6-foot-2 230-pound, Harris is similar to Derrick Henry, he dominates as both a power back, while also being able to beat defenders with speed. He has the ability to both run the ball 20-times a game and give you a spark through the air as a check down option. He could see himself go in the late first after an impressive final collegiate game.

The Dolphins would be wise to do what they must in order to add Harris after a 30 touchdown senior season.

Similar to the Sewell’s break down, watching Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt dominate this season as a duo was impressive. If the Dolphins could get something similar with Harris and Myles Gaskin, while providing a dominant offensive line and an elite defense, they would become more than just a playoff contender, but a Super Bowl favorite.

Harris should be the top running back on the Dolphins draft board, and it shouldn’t be close.
