3 draft prospects worth the 3rd overall pick for the Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins could see Oregon tackle Penei Sewell as a near-perfect draft pick.
Penei Sewell – OT – Oregon
Sewell is very intriguing but will he be the incredible tackle that so many fans think he will? Sewell is the best offensive lineman in this draft class and it isn’t close but some do not see him as a can’t miss prospect.
Sewell is powerful and has great footwork. He uses his quickness to hold off edge rushers and uses his arm’s reach to keep defenders from getting into his body. For the Dolphins, he would beef up an offensive line that is in transition. An anchor on the left side for years to come. If of course, he is that “can’t miss” tackle.
The Dolphins spent a lot of draft capital on lineman last year. They added Austin Jackson, Robert Hunt, and Solomon Kindley and all three started throughout their rookie season. Miami also added Ted Karras and Ereck Flowers in free agency. Flowers is still under contract for the 2021 season but Karras is an impending free agent. Miami is will, at some point, need to make a decision on his future.
Sewell could be the lift to the offensive line that makes them closer to an elite unit. The downside? Miami needs players that will touch the ball or impact the game on defense.
