Is there a bigger need for the Miami Dolphins than running back?

The Miami Dolphins are not going to draft a running back third overall and they may not like the idea of drafting one with pick 18 but if Najee Harris is on their list, they won’t get him in round two.

Harris is the best running back in this draft class and is a combination of speed and explosiveness that the Dolphins sorely lack on offense.

Another Alabama product, Harris is a tough runner that becomes near impossible to stop when he hits the open field. Imagine and offense that featured Tua Tagovailoa, Najee Harris, and DeVonta Smith should Miami draft him at 3. Oh wait, you don’t have to imagine, that was the Bama offense in Tua’s last season.

Harris will get drafted in the first round this year but he isn’t likely going to get drafted earlier than 18. The Dolphins will need to decide if Harris is their guy or whether they can wait it out until round two and draft Clemson running back Travis Etienne. Will Etienne be there when the Dolphins pick in round two?

Miami will have to decide what is more important at this point and this pick could be a game changer on offense or defense depending on how everything shakes out in front of them but I doubt any Dolphins fans would be disappointed by Harris at this pick.
