The Miami Dolphins could look at Chiefs QB coach, Mike Kafka.

Sometimes you just have to pull from the most successful organizations, right? The Kansas City Chiefs are the pinnacle of offensive success. Dolphin fans saw first hand not only how talented they are, but how impressive some of their concepts were. The way that they deploy their skill players is truly remarkable.

This one is a long shot. If Eric Bieniemy is hired away as a Head Coach, Kafka would be promoted to offensive coordinator immediately. However, if Bieniemy is passed over again, Kafka would be the hottest name on the market because of the success that Kansas City has. However, if the Dolphins want to have an offensive coordinator by the Senior Bowl, the Chiefs may still be in the playoffs by then.

Kafka would likely alter the Dolphins draft tendencies. Dolphins fans are absolutely smitten with Alabama receiver Devonta Smith, as they should be. He’s a phenomenal player. However, if you’re looking to replicate Kansas City’s success, you might want to start by adding your Tyreek Hill. Meet Jaylen Waddle, Devonta’s teammate in Tuscaloosa. Waddle is going to run in the 4.2’s and is an absolute jitterbug.

I once again come back to Mike Gesicki. Is he the same type of player as Travis Kelce? No, they have very different styles. However, the creativity that Kansas City has with him intrigues me. Doug Pederson also comes from that tree, and has done excellent work with Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert in Philadelphia.
