Dylan Moses could be the next great linebacker that Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores develops

Round 2 Pick 36

Alabama LB Dylan Moses

After not being able to take Alabama running back Najee Harris at this spot, Moses was the next best choice for what the Dolphins needed.

One of the next great defensive players in the Alabama-to-NFL pipeline, Moses was the leader of Nick Saban’s defense for the past two seasons.

A linebacker with off the charts athleticism and an absolute nose for the football. Moses is a great linebacker and should be a player that the Dolphins covet.

Flores has done a great job with linebackers dating back to his time with the New England Patriots. Having guys like Dont’a Hightower, Jamie Collins, and even current Dolphins Kyle Van Noy. Moses would project like a Hightower and would be a perfect fit next to Jerome Baker.

Baker and Moses would be a good duo against the run and against the pass. If the Dolphins are looking to upgrade at linebacker, especially with the team more than likely losing Elandon Roberts, Moses would be the best pick for the Dolphins to continue to develop their defense.

If there are any concerns with Moses, quite possibly in pass coverage, then there might not be a better head coach to pair Moses with than Brian Flores.
