Bringing in Tagovailoa’s old center could help the Dolphins and save money

Round 2 Pick 50

Alabama IOL Landon Dickerson

Prior to taking Moses, I considered taking Oklahoma IOL Creed Humphrey, however I knew I could fall back on yet ANOTHER Alabama player. Dickerson was the anchor of the offensive line for the Roll Tide the past two seasons, including a season with Tagovailoa at the helm.

Dickerson missed the College Football Playoffs due to an ACL surgery suffered at the SEC championship game against the Florida Gators.

There is zero concern that Dickerson is going to be able to be healthy by the time the Dolphins start their season, and there could be a chance that he would be the starter if the team decides not to bring back Ted Karras. Taking Dickerson and plugging him in immediately with Sewell would give the Dolphins a starting offensive line of players that are either rookies or second year players.

The bright side of drafting Dickerson would be the fact that he doesn’t need to learn how to snap to a left handed quarterback.

With drafting three Bama players with the three of the team’s top four draft picks it’s clear to say that the Alabama Crimson Tide had a pretty good football team that might have 7 to 10 guys drafted in the first two rounds.
