The Dolphins could take two Senior Bowl studs late in the 2021 NFL Draft

Round 4 Pick 114

South Carolina WR Shi Smith

Shi Smith made himself a lot of money this past week at the Senior Bowl being one of the most talked about wideouts. From making crazy catches in practice and seemingly showing he is worth the hype leading the American team with 3 receptions for 57 yards, Smith could be the next big wideout to come out from South Carolina.

In the past two seasons the Gamecocks have sent Deebo Samuel and Bryan Edwards to the NFL and Smith could have a similar impact as Samuel has had for the San Francisco 49ers.

Smith would be a great second wideout to take behind Waddle in the draft, due to his athleticism and catching ability.

Round 6 Pick 183

Northern Iowa EDGE Elerson Smith

At 6-foot-7 245-lbs Elerson Smith is a tall and lanky EDGE rusher who uses that to his advantage when getting to the quarterback. In his redshirt Junior season he had 14.0 sacks, but due to COVID-19 Northern Iowa did not play this season.

As for his performance at the Senior Bowl, he was all over the field in practice and got the chance to play for the Dolphins staff. If the Dolphins think that Smith has the potential due to his length, taking him in the sixth round would be solid value for a pass rusher that has great length and has improved every season he has played.
