Top-5 running back options for the Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins would hope “Playoff Lenny” shows up for the whole season
Playoff Lenny is real and was arguably the best player during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl win. Now the question becomes, does Playoff Lenny survive into next offseason and merit a large contract?
During the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playoff run, Fournette displayed why the Jacksonville Jaguars had used the fourth overall pick on him so many years ago. He showed off running between the tackles, outside the tackles, catching the ball and just as an overall difference maker.
It would be interesting to see if Fournette ends up leaving the Buccaneers after what happened this season, but he could still be a cheaper option than the next guy on our list. Although, after this playoff run it will be interesting to see what his market would be and how much money he would command. There is a guarantee that Fournette won’t likely see the waiver wire once again and will get a multi-year deal going forward.
Now a Super Bowl Champion, teams would hope that Fournette would bring his “Playoff Lenny” persona to the field any given Sunday. However, for the Dolphins, they’d hope he can be a game changing back that wouldn’t even need to worry about passing downs.
