Top-5 running back options for the Miami Dolphins

Aaron Jones could bring his talents to South Beach if the money is right
Jones is the best available running back this offseason for any team looking and it will cost any team somewhere between $10-12 million dollars per year if they are looking at Jones. There aren’t many backs that should be worth that money, but the market has changed for backs and Jones has proven his worth over the past few years.
After the Packers drafted AJ Dillion in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, it was very possible to imagine that Jones would hit free agency this year. The Packers are also forced to focus on other players beyond Jones to bring back, and might not even be able to bring him back if they pay their other free agents. Dillon should be the team’s lead back and the team should bring in another wideout for Rodgers.
Jones, however, will be a hot commodity during free agency and probably will be the first domino to fall before other running backs sign.
For the Dolphins, Jones would immediately give them an Pro-bowl running back that has proven his worth as a three down back and a workhorse. After a year where he did deal with injuries and did split carris, he should be healthy and ready for next season.
If the Dolphins want to help their young quarterback succeed, they will need to establish a great run game and could even set up Tagovailoa to throw deep.
