Oregon’s Penei Sewell takes 26.9% of fan votes

Sewell is considered by many as a generational offensive tackle prospect and an immediate NFL contributor to whatever team ends up selecting him. At third overall, Sewell would be a steal, falling any further you could consider it highway robbery.

As a sophomore at Oregon, Sewell racked up major awards as the country’s best offensive lineman. These awards included picking up multiple Heisman trophy votes, which led him to finish in the top-ten of voting. It was the first time in almost 20-years that an offensive lineman had finished that high in Heisman votes.

After watching the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes running around with a makeshift offensive line it was evident that having two good tackles is important. With the Dolphins having a chance to take a guy that could cover Tagovailoa’s blind side, his right side, it would be very important if Miami wants their quarterback to throw deep and the run game to work.

While the next option in the list will cover how this pick may also be better used on a wideout, Sewell and Smith are both two intriguing options that would help make the Dolphins a better team almost immediately.

No one is certain what the team could do, but Sewell would be a big selection, both literally and figuratively.
