Washington Football Team trades with San Francisco to take Mac Jones

MacJones. 12. player. Pick Analysis. Alabama. QB. 58. Scouting Report

The Washington Football Team is in dire need of a new quarterback that does not waste the teams tremendous young talent. While Jones isn’t Cam Newton, he displays tremendous football IQ, mixed with a great arm and accuracy. He has the making to be a good NFL quarterback that can get teams wins.

The WFT would likely have to give up their second rounder for this year along with their first for next year. San Francisco could use the additional picks in this years draft as they attempt to make another Super Bowl run in 2021.

player. 13. Scouting Report. EDGE. KwityPaye. Pick Analysis. Michigan. 13

The Chargers are more than likely losing Melvin Ingram in free agency, and with their offense looking tremendous, their defense could not stop a soul. Paye would come in immediately and take over for Ingram opposite of Joey Bosa. Paye is big, athletic, and strong exactly what Brandon Staley likes.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Northwestern. OT. Rashawn Slater. 14. player. 60

The Vikings have a great offense and definitely need help on defense, but Slater is the second best offensive tackle and the team needs to improve their offensive line. Slater would give Kirk Cousins more time to throw to his tremendous wideouts and open the running lanes for Dalvin Cook. The defense could be filled later in the draft.
