123: Divine Deablo, S, Virginia Tech

With a name like Divine Deablo, how could you not be fearful of throwing in his direction?

Miami has a solid defense going into 2021 but could use some help at the safety position. They have good, not great safety play as a unit (tight end destroyer

Deablo reminds me a lot of former Dolphin Reshad Jones.

Jones wasn’t the most reliable in pass coverage, but was great against the run, solid in pass rush, and had a knack for making plays. Deablo could be the second coming of Jones and, with a name like that, he could inspire fear in opposing quarterbacks.

He may need some time to develop, but if Brian Flores and the company can get the best out of him, he could be a real asset to this defense.

208: Riley Cole, LB

Cole is a linebacker who is smart and has great awareness of what is going on around him but doesn’t have elite athleticism. Any team that takes him would need to be patient, as he is more than likely going to compete for a special teams spot early in his career.

After spending a lot of picks this draft on offensive players, Cole would be a depth player who could be a solid rotational linebacker in a year or two. With a haul like they got earlier in the draft, the team can afford to take a developmental prospect at this point in the draft.
