The Miami Dolphins have been discussed quite a bit due to their 6th overall draft slot but they also pick at 18 and some believe Najee Harris is the pick.

Maybe the word should be “hope” instead of “believe”. Dolphins fans want Miami’s offense to be dynamic and exciting and high-scoring. As a result, they want the top running back in this class and they want a big electrifying weapon at pick-six with many hoping for either Kyle Pitts or Ja’Marr Chase. The 18th pick doesn’t get as much attention but it should.

The Dolphins’ pick at 18 will be just as important as the 6th overall and the Dolphins need to hit on this one as well. Offensively there will be options but Miami may be better to go defense if Harris isn’t their choice. Here is a look at who may be there for them at 18.

Micah Parsons

Parsons is considered a mid-first-round talent this year but off-field rumors have dropped his stock. Still, there is no denying the talent and he would give Miami an immediate impact player. If he is there at 18, he very well could be the direction Miami should go.

Caleb Farley

Farley is a top-notch cornerback and many believe that he should be in the discussion for the top corner in this year’s draft. His issue was a back problem. Farley would give Miami security should they opt to move on from either Xavien Howard or Byron Jones in the next couple of years. They may not “need” another CB but Brian Flores loves DB’s.

Jayson Oweh

If there is a need for Miami it is on the edge. They have to get that ironed out. Miami has not been solid at the edge since Cameron Wake left. Emmanuel Ogbah did well last year but the other side of the defensive line wasn’t consistent. Miami needs to upgrade here.
