Longhorns . Joseph Ossai. 50. player. 851. . Edge

This is not the first time I have mocked former Texas edge defender Joseph Ossai to the Miami Dolphins. Miami has a big hole at the edge, and they need to add someone. It would not surprise me to see the Dolphins sign Jadaveon Clowney before or after the draft. If they do not add an edge defender in the draft, watch out for that. That would not be the best-case scenario, in my opinion.

The best-case scenario would be Ossai dropping to pick 50, and the Dolphins lock up another starting defender to pair with Parsons. Adding two defenders with their first four picks may not be ideal for some, but Miami will have a chance to add some valuable defenders, and I do not think they will pass it up.

Ossai can line up all over the field, either putting his hand in the dirt or rushing as a linebacker, which is why I love the potential he would have in Miami.

Adding Pitts and Etienne to the offense will be incredible, and then adding Parsons and Ossai on defense would be a home run draft. Miami’s general manager Chris Grier could go home already because the Dolphins will have already won the draft.

Like Parsons, Ossai is athletic and versatile. He stands 6-3 and weighs 256 pounds, but he ran a 4.63 40-yard dash and had a 41.5 inch vertical. Those are impressive numbers for him, and I think he would be an excellent addition to the defense.
