59. . Center. Miami Dolphins. Quinn Meinerz. 81. player

Personally, I think the Miami Dolphins’ biggest hole on their roster is at center. Miami did sign Matt Skura this offseason, but you can’t sell me on the idea of Skura being the answer at center for the Dolphins. Miami needs to draft a center, and they need to get one with their first five picks. This is a best-case scenario mock draft, so they luckily get their center with pick 81.

Do I think that former Division III offensive guard Quinn Meinerz will make it to pick 81? Honestly, at this point in time, it is too hard to tell. I think Miner’s hype could push him into the 2nd round, but teams may be scared to pull the trigger that early. Meinerz played his college football at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He did not play in 2020 due to COVID-19, but he did get an invite to the Senior Bowl.

At the Senior Bowl, Meinerz became the talk of the town. He was dominant in all of his reps and started to look like he was the best offensive lineman there. He was a guard in college but took reps at center and looked like a natural. He spoke on Phinside The NFL a few weeks ago and said he set up his own contraception to practice snapping the ball. In that interview with Reason, you got the sense that Miami loves this kid and wants to draft him.

Well, the best-case scenario is that Meinerz is there at pick 81, and the Dolphins get their center of the future. He could sit a year behind Skura if he needed, but I think he would end up winning the job in training camp.
