The Miami Dolphins draft rumors are kicking up and now Micah Parsons is entering the conversation as it seems Brian Flores likes him a lot.

If the Miami Dolphins move from six to a team needing a quarterback, Miami may go defense and Micah Parson could be the pick. He could also be the pick at 18.

According to Matt Miller, he is hearing around the league that the Dolphins head coach loves Penn State linebacker, Micah Parsons. The question is how much does he want him and what will the Dolphins do to get him if that is true?

Miami will not likely take Parsons at six and frankly, it would be somewhat of a shock if they did. That doesn’t mean they will stay at six if the top two pass-catchers are off the board. If they drop to nine, then maybe they go in that direction.

The other option is obviously at 18 and if Parsons is still on the board as some have predicted, the Dolphins could get Flores’ guy there. They may also look to move up if they feel the Raiders or Patriots will take him. That would be a bit surprising as well considering they would need to give up draft capital to do so.

Parsons could be a game-changer on defense and fix the Miami linebacker issues for good. The Dolphins are not bad at linebacker with the addition of Bernardrick McKinney this off-season and the return of Vince Biegel from injury and the developing Andrew Van Ginkel but Parsons is special.

If the Dolphins walk away from the first round with a top pass-catcher and Parsons at 18, it will have been a team-changing first round. Miami could address running back and offensive line in round two where there should be very good talent on the board.
