Ja’Marr Chase is the best receiver in this draft and is arguably the best receiving threat when put up against Kyle Pitts. Chase has the potential to be a number one receiver for Tua Tagovailoa for the net decade plus and pairing him with the likes of DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, Will Fuller and Mike Gesicki would transform Miami’s receiving unit into one of the most dangerous in the game.

Chase can do it all on the field. He has incredible size, great speed and outstanding route running ability. He is a hard worker and puts in the behind the scenes work that can help him move into elite status quickly in the NFL.

To be totally transparent, I have been going back and forth between Chase and Kyle Pitts as the best choice for the Dolphins with the 6th overall pick. Honestly, if both are available when Miami is on the clock, I would be thrilled to have either. That being said, I think I would give the tiniest of edges to Chase because of his dynamic playmaking ability and based on the rest of the roster. For as good as Fuller, Parker and Williams are, they each have different issues that keeps them from seeing the field all of the time. Chase would solve that problem immediately and, because of that, I give the nod to Chase over Pitts.
