Mention the Miami Dolphins and pick six in this month’s draft and you will hear about all the receivers, tackles, and Kyle Pitts. But what about Micah Parsons?

We know that the Dolphins believe that whoever their target was at three will still be on the board at six. Or they could feel that they are good with whoever manages to fall to them. While we all tend to focus on offense, what about defense?

Micah Parsons is the best linebacker in this draft. He can pass rush, he can stop the run, he can drop into coverage. He has the intelligence to be a perennial Pro Bowl player if he transitions well to the NFL. Someone is going to get a great linebacker and there were reports that Brian Flores loves this guy.

We have to remember that the Dolphins currently have 11 players on the roster at WR including Will Fuller who was signed as a free agent.

It still remains unlikely that the Dolphins would draft Parsons at six but I wouldn’t rule it out either. They know there is no question they can get him there and they may be able to drop back to around nine if they get an offer and still get him. I also wouldn’t be surprised to hear the Dolphins trading up from 18 to get him either.
