There have been rumors that the Eagles are trying to do what Chris Grier did and jump back into the top 10. To do that Howie Roseman would need to make another deal and the Dolphins at nine afford him that opportunity.

Miami would get their mid-round pick back this year in round four and a 2nd round pick in 2022. They do not get their first-round pick back next year although. Again, we are working off low-end compensation here.

With the 9th pick, the Eagles draft a cornerback, I would mock Jaycee Horn to them here. The Eagles have a few needs but they need to get better in the secondary and Horn is the best player in this class. Jumping ahead of Dallas is important as the Eagles would likely target Horn there.

Now that Miami has moved down, the Cowboys at 10 will go with Patrick Surtain, II, a top cornerback as well. The Giants at 11 would now take Rashawn Slater to anchor their offensive line. That puts Miami back on the clock at 12.  A pick they previously held.
