The Miami Dolphins are on the clock but they are not answering phone calls. After trading the 3rd overall pick to San Francisco, the 12th to Philadelphia for six, the six to Denver for 9, the 9th overall pick back to Philadelphia for 12, and the 12th pick to Washington for 20, Miami is ready to make a big draft pick.

Brian Flores reportedly loves Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons and for all the trading they have done, he lands in their lap at 18. Parsons is a perfect fit for the Dolphins defense and Flores’ scheme. Off-field problems and maturity concerns dropped Parsons out of what should be a top ten draft prospect.

The Dolphins need to get better off the edge and Parsons can do exactly that. He has great read and reacts ability, can cover well against the pass, defends well against the run, and can attack the passer from anywhere along the front seven.

Miami needs offensive help and Dolphins fans will not be happy that they watched the top wide-receivers in this class go elsewhere including to the Patriots but Miami’s draft pick haul is such that they can add pass catchers later in the draft.
