Dayo Odeyingbo, DL, Vanderbilt

This guy is a beast. Sadly, he tore his Achilles’ tendon before the Senior Bowl, and that alone will be a reason he drops. However, he should make a full recovery and be good to go. And when he does, the Dolphins should try and get him later in the draft because he could become a guy they can trust on the defensive line.

Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas

As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Jaelon Darden. He has been one of my most talked about draft players all offseason, so you may not label him as a sleeper. However, even with me hyping him up, the hype on Darden still has not picked up. Darden is a DUDE from the slot, and according to Pro Football Focus, Darden has the best stats from the slot out of all of the receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft. I think he is going to make a big impact in the NFL.

D’Ante Smith, T, East Carolina

This guy is a monster. He has 35 1/4 arms, which helps him stone defenders trying to get to the quarterback. He should be a great value on late Day 2, early Day 3. He just needs to clean up his technique a bit, but he should become a starter in the NFL one day.

Trevon Grimes, WR, Florida

I talked about the idea of drafting former Florida Gators receiver Trevon Grimes on Episode 2 of Man-to-Man Coverage with my co-host James Smart, aka Smart Guy. We did a mock draft with @FinsOrDie, and we took Grimes in the 7th round. Grimes is a big-bodied receiver who can be a dominant threat in the red zone. He flashed at times at Florida, and Grimes should have a solid NFL career.

Damar Hamlin, S, Pittsburgh

Another name at safety that I really like later in the draft is Damar Hamlin. He does have some injury concerns, but he could help a defense in the NFL if he stays healthy. Hamlin can also help on special teams early in his career, so I would love to see him added late in the draft.
