The Miami Dolphins trade pick 18 and pick 50 to the Minnesota Vikings for pick 14, pick 90, and pick 119.

Now you see the aggressiveness start to heat up. Miami trades up from pick 18 to pick 14 and swaps some picks in between. Giving up pick 50 may be hard, but Miami has pick 36, and pick 40 from the first trade, so that is why they can stomach this.

If you need a defensive player in this draft, you are in luck. It seems like the start of the first round will be very offense-heavy, so some elite defenders will drop. I believe that former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons is the best defensive player in the entire draft, and I see him sliding out of the top 10 pretty easily this year.

When he does, Miami needs to get aggressive and go get him. I know many people know me as the Kyle Pitts Train Conductor, but I am also leading the charge of the Micah Parsons to Miami march! I do not think there is a player that fits the Miami Dolphins’ defense better than Parsons, and he would become an elite starter from Day 1. Parsons has a rare combination of size and speed, and the way he flows to the football is incredible.

Parsons’ best game was against Memphis in 2019 in the Cotton Bowl. Parsons won defensive MVP in the game, and he was absolutely incredible. Watch that game, and you can see what I mean. It is extraordinary to watch a defensive player dominate a game like that.

Miami fans should be jumping with joy if they can get Smith and Parsons with their first two picks.
