156. player. 851. . S. Longhorns . Caden Sterns

The Miami Dolphins get a safety that could blossom into a star.

Former Texas safety Caden Sterns was my No. 1 sleeper for my 15 sleepers in the 2021 NFL Draft, and for good reasons. I absolutely love his game, and I think he has sky-high potential. Sterns never reached his potential as a highly ranked recruit coming out of college, but I think that had more to do with Texas stinking that Sterns not striving to be great.

I think Sterns would thrive in Miami, and he could be a Day 1 starter as their single-high free safety. Sterns plays with great instincts, and his freshman film was really fun to watch. If Miami can tap into his potential, he could be a star in Miami.

178. player. 879. . WR. Tigers . Cornell Powell

The Miami Dolphins trade Jakeem Grant to the Green Bay Packers for pick 178.

If there was one receiver that no one is talking about that I would bet the house on to become successful in the NFL, it is former Clemson receiver, Cornell Powell. He is a former four-star recruit that never broke out until his fifth and final year at Clemson.

In 2020, Powell showed that he can run elite routes, catch the ball, and make plays. I am a little worried he will get drafted way higher than people expect because I see a player who will be producing his entire NFL career.

Powell would plug in nicely with DeVonta Smith, Will Fuller, DeVante Parker, and Preston Williams. That would be an incredible receiver core and one that Miami could count on.

. CB. Badgers . Rachad Wildgoose Jr.. 258. player. 809

The Miami Dolphins add a versatile cornerback that needs to develop.

Selfishly, I was pumped to get former Wisconsin Badgers cornerback Rachad Wildgoose Jr. in this mock draft because of his name. Based on that name alone, this guy has Hall of Fame potential! All jokes aside, Wildgoose entered the NFL draft a year before he should have, but some team will take a chance on him.

He had a great Pro Day, and he has the versatility to play inside, outside, help at safety, and play special teams. Wildgoose seems like a Brian Flores cornerback.
