Spencer Brown. 81. player. 59. . Tackle. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins find their future right tackle at pick 81.

Former Northern Iowa offensive tackle Spencer Brown would be a steal at pick 81. Brown was one of my top 15 sleepers in the 2021 NFL Draft, and for a good reason.

I think Brown has starter qualities and could become Miami’s starting right tackle and Tagovailoa’s blindside protector for years to come. I could see Miami also loving an offensive tackle like former Florida Gators offense tackle Stone Forsythe here, but I think Brown has a chance to slide a bit because of all the tackless to all on the board.

Tevin Jenkins, a first-round pick in almost everyone’s eyes, is still on the board for Day 2. Along with Jenkins, Dillon Radunz, Jalen Mayfield, Liam Eichenberg, and Samuel Cosmi are still there too. There may be a run on these tackles, so Brown may not slide all the way to 81, but you can see there is a legitimate chance he does now.

Miami has made some moves to their offensive line already this offseason, trading for Isaiah Wilson, trading Ereck Flowers, and signing D.J. Fluker. It is clear they feel their offensive line needs some work, so adding Brown makes a ton of sense.

Brown could either start on Day 1, or he could battle it out with Fluker for the right tackle position. I think Miami really wants Robert Hunt to play guard, and this move would cement that if the Fluker one didn’t already.

Finishing Day 2 with Williams, Meinerz, and Brown would be an excellent day for the Dolphins.
