Tonight’s draft will again be covered live on NFL Network and on ESPN

Picking first

The Jaguars will kick off the draft again tonight at pick 33. The Dolphins will pick 4th in this round. The Texans and Falcons finished with the same record and therefore the Falcons will draft in the third spot.

Third round

Compensatory selections will finish round three.

Miami Dolphins selections

Miami will draft 4th in the 2nd round at pick number 36. They will select again, 50th overall, for the second pick in round two. Miami will then wait until selection 81 in round three.

Round 1 recap

The Dolphins drafted Jaylen Waddle at six overall and Jaelen Phillips at 18.

Miami Dolphins remaining needs

Linebacker: The Dolphins did a bit to help the unit in free agency and through a trade with Houston for Bernardrick McKinney but still could use help.

Running back: It is unclear if the Dolphins have the same desire at running back as the fans insist they do.

Safety: Miami is good in the secondary but could use safety depth and future replacements for McCain and Rowe.

Center: Perhaps one of the bigger needs on the team as Matt Skura is on a one-year deal. There are three top centers still left on the boards: Landon Dickerson, Creed Humphrey, and Quinn Meinerz.

Offensive line: Simply put you can never have too many offensive linemen.
