The Miami Dolphins won’t draft until the 5th round unless they trade into the 4th and that might be too costly to do. They have 3 picks total.

Miami will draft in the 5th round and then will wait until the 7th round where they have two selections. There is a more than likely chance that Miami will miss out on quite a bit of talent that has fallen.

At linebacker, Jabril Cox of LSU is still on the board and many felt he would go on day two. That hasn’t been the case.

Another target many had Miami looking at is Stone Forsythe. The Florida offensive tackle is still on the board and he too was thought to be a day two pick as well.

If Miami wants to add another guard, Trey Smith could be a target but he will likely be gone in round four.

Running back is the position most fans are paying attention to and there are several still available that could drop into round five should the Dolphins want to take one. Names to watch are Oklahoma State’s Chuba Hubbard, Memphis runner Kenneth Gainwell, and North Carolina’s Michael Carter. Carter is intriguing as he is a very gifted runner who played alongside Javonte Williams.

Defensively, the Dolphins could look to add another edge rusher, and Duke’s Chris Rumph, II is the best available right now but he won’t likely last into the 5th. Another safety that Miami could add is Hamsah Nasirildeen of Florida State. Some projected him as third-round talent.
