The dust has officially settled on a wild NFL Draft. Miami came into the three-day event with some clear needs across the roster and did a commendable job filling those needs and rounding out a borderline playoff team.

Miami’s team is noticeably better than it was when the draft started and the team added playmakers and explosiveness on both sides of the ball, something that they lacked during the 2020 season. They also clearly decided to build around Tua Tagovailoa, further demonstrating that the front office believes he is the quarterback of the future for this team.

Now that the draft is over, it’s time to take one final look at how the draft played out and give some insight into the newest Miami Dolphins. As a spoiler alert, I was very happy with the majority of Miami’s selections and their moves both up and down the draft board. Miami came in with a clear plan for this draft and, I believe, executed it well.

Here is my final analysis on each of the Dolphins’ draft picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
