The Miami Dolphins did a good job filling their roster needs

Phillips is an interesting pick at the 18 spot. Not bad, just interesting considering everything going on with him as a prospect.
At this point, we all know the story, so here is the concise version. The number one recruit out of high school in 2017, Phillips had a resurgence in his football career after medically retiring. He has a long list of injuries that he has sustained over the last few years and he will need to prove that he can stay healthy for a full 17 game season in order for this pick to be deemed a success.
Despite the injury concerns, Miami is definitely getting a stud of a player. If healthy, Philips has the natural pass-rush ability that could make him a legitimate threat on the outside of a Brian Flores defense. Miami needed a pass rusher that could consistently wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks, especially since the division has improved at that position, especially over the last few days.
Phillips may present a lot of risks, but his ceiling is extremely high and he could be a star in the making in South Florida.
