Miami travels to Buffalo to wrap up this two-game split early in the year, which is beneficial since Miami may avoid the worst of Buffalo weather. Will that be in Miami’s favor? Usually, it’s helpful, but if recent seasons are any indication, it won’t mean a whole lot.

Miami has played pretty poorly in Buffalo over the course of the last few years and is coming off what might be an exhausting matchup vs Atlanta after their return from London. This was already going to be a tough matchup and the lack of rest may make it even more complicated. Over the last few years, Miami has struggled against Buffalo especially when they play IN Buffalo. I can’t see the struggles ending in this one after a loss to the Falcons.

Josh Allen probably didn’t like the fact that he lost to Miami earlier in the season. I expect a bounce-back game from him where he puts up some big numbers that look very similar to his career numbers against the Dolphins.

I don’t think this will be a blowout like it has been normally in Buffalo, but Miami is going to lose this one and drop to .500.

Dolphins record: 4-4
