The Miami Dolphins may face five rookie quarterbacks this season.

When the season finally comes to an end, the Miami Dolphins may face their 5th rookie quarterback of the year. The New England Patriots may or may not switch to Mac Jones by week 18 and a lot of that will depend on where the Patriots are in terms of record. It is unlikely that Jones will be the week one starter but Bill Belichick’s ego may play the rookie from the start.

Miami will also face Zach Wilson of the Jets, twice this year. Wilson of course was drafted by the Jets number two overall. Ironically, the Jets traded former starter and number one pick, Sam Darnold to the Panthers. The Dolphins will play the Panthers this year as well and it will be interesting to see if he is better now that New York is behind him.

We mentioned Trevor Lawernce earlier but the Dolphins will also face an uncertain Houston Texans team who could go with a rookie, a career back-up, or maybe DeShaun Watson if his life is cleared up in time.

Against New Orleans in week 16, the Dolphins could face Jameis Winston or Taysom Hill but more likely it will be both.  Regardless, there are plenty of inexperienced QBs on this year’s Dolphins schedule.
