Brooms out as Miami Dolphins send Jets back to New York

The Jets will visit the Miami Dolphins a second time on December 19th and it will come after Miami takes a break and regroups. Miami has their bye in week 14 and the Jets will have to contend with Miami’s heat and homefield advantage, and ten days of preparation.

The Jets should be getting better but not quite there yet. It is all going to ride on how well Wilson continues to improve or regress. It is never easy for an AFC team to sweep the others in the division and that holds true for the Miami and the Jets who play each other very well each year regardless of the talent on the roster.

This game will be important for Miami as it will keep them on pace in the AFC East with the Bills and possibly the Patriots. While Miami can afford to lose a game or two down the stretch, they can’t be winnable games, especially winnable games against a division rival.

The Dolphins will head to their final three weeks with 10 wins and three losses but the next two games are going to be tough.
